How It Works
The Super Frecator machine uses a high-frequency electrical current that delivers a precise electrical spark through a micro-needle electrode to dehydrate the skin growth. As a result of the treatment, a scab will form to protect the newly treated area. The normal healing process begins and when the scab falls off, the new healthy skin will be revealed that will slowly take on the color of the surrounding tissue.

How is removal done?
Removal is performed by a certified technician with a Super Frecator machine that uses a high-frequency electrical micro-needle to deliver a precise electric current at different amplitudes to dehydrate the skin growth. The micro-needle remains above the skin with the electrical current crossing the gap between the growth and needle. As a result of the treatment, a scab forms to protect the newly-treated area. The normal healing process begins and new healthy skin will be revealed once the scab falls off. This new skin will slowly take on the color of the surrounding tissue.
Does it hurt?
A numbing cream is applied to the area being treated to minimize any pain. Most clients describe the pain level as equivalent to a pinch.
How long does it take to heal?
Healing time takes about 10-14 days for the scab to fall off and about 14 days thereafter for the skin to begin to look like the surrounding area.
Are the results permanent?
Yes, for the particular growth treated. If your skin is prone to these types of growths, new ones may appear in the same area and others may continue to appear on other areas of the body.
How does this treatment differ from liquid nitrogen?
The Super Frecator is generally more effective than liquid nitrogen in removing common skin growths. Frequently more than one application of liquid nitrogen is needed to remove a growth whereas only one Super Frecator treatment is ever necessary.
